Galaxy Note 3 started getting Android KitKat 4.4.2 update in many countries

Samsung galaxy Note 3 was a great hit when it was released last year. Now after few months of its launch Samsung has started pushing Android KitKat - 4.4.2 update for it in some more countries mentioned here in the list. Check if your country is in the list and update your phone to latest version of Android. Countries in the list are India, South Korea, Switzerland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy.

Motorola Moto G price and availability details for Indian market to come on 5th February, 2014

Motorola has updated their Facebook page where they announced about the availability and price of Moto G. Motorola will x announce it's availability on February 5th, 2014 that is in less that 15 days. Moto G is available in international market at a descent price of $179 which makes it a great option at this price range. We are eagerly looking forward for the date when Motorola is going to officially launch it in India. 

LG smartphones to get Android KitKat update directly skipping Jelly Bean - 4.3

It is recently revealed that LG might bring a direct breakthrough for its smartphones by giving them Android KitKat update. LG will be skipping the Android 4.3 update and will directly provide Android 4.4 update for most of their high end smartphones. 

OMG !!! A Tablet with 500 GB HDD : It's SEGATE !

It appears that storage manufacturer Seagate is planning to jump onboard the slate bandwagon and has showed a reference design that crams under a relatively thin figure, a 500GB hard drive

The reference model is built using the company's new 5 mm / 0.19 inches hard drive and apparently, Seagate will have a new SSHD solution out too. The only problem is that the drive appears to take up most of the space under the hood, meaning there’s no place left for a decent battery.

CES 2014 revealed LG's plans of launching G Flex in US in first quarterof 2014

LG G Flex is the world's first curved smartphone or phablet with 6-inch curved Plastic-OLED HD display. Top to bottom curve on the phone gives it a distinct look and feel. LG revealed its plan of launching the world's first curved smartphone in the US market in the first quarter of 2014. CES 2014 being held at Las Vegas became the platform for this news. According to the company LG G Flex will launch on Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T carriers. Exact dates still to be revealed, but indication is enough for us.

G Flex has some of the best specifications out of the box. It get its power through world's first curved battery. 3,500 mAh battery is the first of its kind in the world and is still capable of running the device for long. Under its hood lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz and Quad-core Krait CPU for ultra-fast performance. Moreover device has 2 GB RAM and 32 GB in-built storage capacity (No memory card slot present).

It comes with Android 4.2.2 - Jelly Bean out of the box. LG has given its own customized interface in it, which we all see on other LG smartphones. LG has introduced the 'Dual Windows'concept in G Flex by which a user can use 2 apps simultaneously. This is very much like Samsung's dual windows concept in their smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 specifications and launch at CES 2014

Samsung recently launched another smart camera in its Galaxy camera series. It is Galaxy Camera 2 which has been launched at CES 2014 being held at Las Vegas. Although Galaxy camera was a great success, Samsung is double excited with its new product which too have the abilities to stand on the top of others. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO tablet line will be available in Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi and 3G, or Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity options. In addition, Samsung has revealed that the 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO will come bundled with an S Pen, while the 12.2-inch Galaxy TabPRO, Galaxy TabPRO 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch will come without the S Pen option

Samsung expanded its famous Galaxy of tablets by adding a new tablet in its series - Galaxy Note Pro which is introduced at #CES2014 being held at Las Vegas from 7th to 10th January, 2014. Galaxy Note Pro features a gigantic 12.2-inch WXQGA (2,560-by-1,600) display, Samsung's own Octa-Core Exynos processor (WiFi/WiFi+3G) / Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (LTE version), 3 GB RAM and much more. Samsung started the year with it which clearly indicates that 2014 is going to be the year of bigger tablets from all smartphone manufacturers. Let us wait and watch.

Acer unveiled the Acer Liquid Z5, a budget smartphone that features a 5-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is 8.8mm thick and has rounded edges.
The announcement has come at a time when CES 2014 is around the corner. Acer hasn't revealed the complete specifications for the Acer Liquid Z5, and is expected to do so at the event.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Launched in India, Preorder at Rs.999 by Snapdeal .

Samsung  officially announced the Galaxy Grand 2 in India at an event in Mumbai. The phone will be available in stores in early January 2014,in case you want to pre-order the Grand 2 that can be done here for Rs 2,000. and available on Snapdeal for pre-order amount Rs. 999 here.
The phone is available in Black, White and Pink colors. Samsung did not announce the price at the event but expect it to be between Rs. 22900 and Rs. 24900.

Nvidia Tegra Note tablets have started receiving Android 4.3 update over-the-air !

Nvidia has started an over-the-air (OTA) Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Tegra Note tablets, which brings new features and additions to the partner devices such as the Xolo Play Tegra Note.
The chip maker confirmed the news via the official Nvidia blog, and also noted that the update is now live for Tegra Note manufactured by OEMs such as Advent, EVGA, Gigabyte, Shenzhen Homecare Technology, Xolo and Zotac.

Android KitKat-4.4 update for Droid Maxx, ultra and mini started rolling out

Verizon Wireless Tweeted today about Android KitKat-4.4 update for Droid Maxx, ultra and mini smartphones. Updates are started rolling out from today and will be available to all users within a week or more. These updates are released in phases and hence will take some time to reach every device, so be patient. By the time you can check the update manually anytime by going to settings --> About Device --> Software update --> Check for Updates.

Samsung's own mobile operating system Tizen leaked on internet - Samsung want it to be Android's main competitor

Samsung's own developed operating system for different platforms has appeared in some of the images online. It is named as Tizen and Samsung is going to launch it on 23 February, 2014 at a press conference in Barcelona. Samsung news website, Sammobile displayed leaked images of Tizen operating system which is mainly designed to operate Samsung smartphones and is an indication that Samsung do not want Google's Android to be as its main mobile platform.
