Android KitKat-4.4 update for Droid Maxx, ultra and mini started rolling out

Verizon Wireless Tweeted today about Android KitKat-4.4 update for Droid Maxx, ultra and mini smartphones. Updates are started rolling out from today and will be available to all users within a week or more. These updates are released in phases and hence will take some time to reach every device, so be patient. By the time you can check the update manually anytime by going to settings --> About Device --> Software update --> Check for Updates.

You can check for other details on the Verizon product update page. Verizon also recently released Android Jelly Bean-4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S3.

The Finnish smartphone maker-Nokia successfully launched its Windows 8 tablet  - Nokia Lumia 2520 on Verizon Wireless starting at $399 for 2-years contract. Tablet features massive full HD 10.1-inch clear black IPS display and comes with quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processors clocked at 2.2GHz. RAM is 2GB which is more than enough keeping in regards that Windows operating system is extremely lightweight and does not offer much load over the device.
