After windows 8 and 8.1 , Microsoft is planning to release windows 9 instead of releasing windows 8.2. Most of us were also thinking that next window would most likely be windows 8.2 . Microsoft plans to provide a update to windows 8.1 ie update 1 or (GDR1 internally) and windows Phone 8.1, there would not be a major update for next 15 months as microsoft is thinking to release windows 9 in april next year.
Windows Phone 9 is also expected to be a part of windows 9 threshold release next year.

CES 2014: CyberPowerPC Fang Battle Box, a Briefcase Gaming PC !
High-end gaming rigs often look like large, solid, hulking brutes, albeit with some angular, elegant lines, but CyberPowerPC decided to flush that design convention down the drain when it made the Fang Battle Box.
The name is really misleading actually, since the word “box” would fit those desktops I have mentioned more than it does this new invention.
Still, that is what CyberPowerPC decided the product should be called, so that's what it went ahead and named it.
“Fang” is there because it's already got a certain brand strength on the gaming industry, even if the system looks nothing like a sharp tooth.
But this egress has gone on long enough, so now we may as well examine the product itself, and for once, we'll start with the outside instead of the core hardware.

Time to Watch Curved Televisions : CES 2014 !

Samsung has a 105-inch television. It is absolutely massive. Even in
big drawing rooms, it is going to tower over everything else. And like
any big television, it looks stunning. But that is not the USP of this
TV. The real appeal of this product is in its curved screen, which
claims to give user a more immersive experience.
Samsung also has a TV that changes shape. With screen size of 84-inch it is not as imposing as the one with 105-inch screen, but it has another trick. It can curve its screen (or straighten it, depending on your requirement) at just click of a button. This is a TV that can shift its shape!
These are the biggest and most notable examples. Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Sharp, Polaroid, Toshiba, Hi-Sense and a few other firms have many more 4K TVs. Most of them have screen size of at least 55-inch or more. Almost all of them are "smart" TVs.
While these TVs are impressive, one thing is missing - price and availability. The Panasonic TV with two curves is definitely a prototype and technology demo currently. The chances are that it will never go on the sale in the market. And even if it does, majority of users will not be able to afford it Panasonic's America unit chief Joe Taylor makes it clear, "This is a business solution unless you are the head of a hedge fund."

Apple Patents Optical Image Stabilization Technology for iPhone 6 Camera

Digital cameras are not the only ones that
reach the headlines and some of the major electronics manufacturers
have already integrated powerful cameras into their latest smartphones,
which now are capable of capturing even Raw images.
While the iPhone 5 enjoys a huge success on the market, Apple is already planning to improve the future generation camera features. A recent patent discovered by UnwiredView, confirms that the company is currently working on a new technology called “VCM OIS actuator module” that will add Optical Image Stabilization as well as an improved autofocus to future iPhones.
The new AF mechanism will be capable of moving the lens along the optical axis as well as actively tilting it at the same time. This will efficiently compensate camera movements allowing you to take clear, sharp photos in any shooting conditions.
According to the patent, Apple is working on the iOS technology since early 2012 and it should be ready just in time for the launch of iPhone 6.

OMG !!! A Tablet with 500 GB HDD : It's SEGATE !
It appears that storage manufacturer Seagate is
planning to jump onboard the slate bandwagon and has showed a reference
design that crams under a relatively thin figure, a 500GB hard drive
.
The reference model is built using the company's new 5 mm / 0.19 inches hard drive and apparently, Seagate will have a new SSHD solution out too. The only problem is that the drive appears to take up most of the space under the hood, meaning there’s no place left for a decent battery.
