Nokia has recently pushed the latest update for Windows Phone 8 and named it - Lumia Black software update. It has brought many new and interesting features to all Windows Phones. Some of them are App folders on Start Screen, Nokia Glance screen 2.0, Nokia Storyteller, Nokia Refocus, Nokia Beamer, Nokia camera and Nokia LE. This is certainly a major update for Nokia's Windows Phone 8 series including Lumia 520 and recently launched Lumia 525.
With this update one of the best thing is the introduction of App folders in the start screen on Windows Phone 8. It was really required as my home screen was getting longer and longer day by day. Another important feature is the Nokia Glance 2.0 screen which will bring all notifications from your social media accounts to your lock screen. It will save your battery and time for checking them.
Nokia Storyteller application has also been brought with Lumia Black update. This application sorts your photos and videos according to date and place and shows them on map in an interactive manner. Nokia Beamer, Nokia Refocus are some of the other useful applications that were introduces with this update.
Some other specific minor update has brought overall improvement in image quality of the Lumia 1020 by bringing raw DNG support in Lumia 1020. Finally we can say that Nokia has really improved the overall experience of Windows Phone 8 operating system. Share with us your views and comments when you will install this update.
