Samsung Galaxy S4

It is the time when you want to switch your android phone and buy a new one with the latest features. If such are your planning for the year end then we will suggest you to wait and go for Samsung Galaxy S5, which is rumored to launch in February of next year. This would be the most advanced smartphone of Samsung by that time in terms of specifications and other features. It is expected that Galaxy S5 will be featuring a 64 bit ARM processor along with the Exynos 6 chip which will consume 50% lesser power. Also the heat generated while functioning of the phone will be too lesser than you feel at this time with your current Galaxy smartphones.

New Chip architecture to be introduced in Samsung Galaxy S5

It is no doubt that Samsung will definitely try to introduce something better next year so as to compete the Apple's new iPhone 5S. Samsung is expected to be working on decreasing the chip element size to even more shorter dimensions so as to decrease the power consumption and thus increase the efficiency of the devices. In comparison to the current 28nm architecture, according to the Korean Media DDaily, the chip architecture has been dropped down to 14nm for future Samsung smartphones.

Rumors also suggest that the new Exynos 6 chip will be consuming 50% lesser power with better power management and low heat generation. Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S5 with this new chip architecture as they don't want to fall behind the Apple latest 64-bit A7 chip architecture. Also the upcoming smartphones of Samsung will also feature the new 64-bit chip architecture to give powerful and faster performance and maximized battery life with better heat and power management.

Software version

Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launching with the new Android version 4.4. Android KitKat will come preinstalled on Samsung Galaxy S5 devices whenever they are launching. Google is expected to be working on final stages of their upcoming Android version and can release it for devices across the world at any time. We can just hope that all the smartphones coming in 2014 will be coming with Android KitKat version 4.4 out of the box.
