Android captured 80% market share with Samsung alone having 39% of that.

In the intense competition between major mobile operating systems, Android has marked another highest point where it has captured 81% of the total market share in 3Q13. We have then iOS at the second position with 12.9% market share which saw some decline as compared to 14.4 % in the 3Q12 (3rd quarter of 2012). But what was most interesting is the percentage increase in market share for Windows Phone, which jumped to 3.6% from 2% last year (2Q12). This means it increased by 156% and that is really amazing but then also seems very insignificant in comparison to top 2 operating systems.

Samsung and LG introduced their curved smartphones this year which are obviously their best innovative product of the 2013. Samsung brought Galaxy Round with almost Note 3 like design and feel but with a curve that goes from left to right. While LG G Flex features a 6-inch top to bottom curved display. Both smartphones are also very powerful specs wise and offers all that a high end smartphone can offer. Apple is also expected to be working on similar projects and can bring a curved iPhone by the end of next year.

Internet explorer 11 free for windows 7 users

Microsoft has recently announced that its latest released browser Internet explorer will be available to windows 7 users for free. The new browser was already present in previously available on window 8.1 which was upgraded since a month ago.
Microsoft officials said that browser will improve the performance of websites using scripts like javascript and they also added that this browser is 9% faster than its earlier version IE 10.
