Lenovo just entered the Windows tablet world with its all new Miix 2 Windows 8.1 tablet. It is their first tablet based on Windows 8 Operating system and is powered by Intel's quad-core chip. Pricing is nominal starting at $389 and other variant at $439. Other specifications include 8-inch 1280-by-800 WXGA IPS display, quad core Intel Atom Z3740 processor clocked at 1.33 MHz, 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM, up to 64 GB of inbuilt storage option and Windows 8.1 operating system.

Huawei showcased its two latest Android smartphones, Huawei Honor 3X and Honor 3C, both released in a press event in China. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek's latest octa-core processor and other high end specifications. Honor series latest smartphones are all set for pre-orders and you can do that from JD.com and VMall. No other details about availability are out at this time and soon Huawei will make things clear on that.

LG Electronics has revealed their plans about the Android KitKat-4.4 update for their most advanced smartphone - LG G2. LG is planning to launch the update later this month or starting from January, next year. LG is the manufacturer of Google's Nexus 5 (as well as Nexus 4) which was the first smartphone to run on Android KitKat version 4.4. After that Motorola and HTC became the second and third smartphone manufacturers to give latest Android version to their respective smartphones.

Well some of the internet sources are assuming that Microsoft has plans for rolling out the update including the new Start Menu for Windows 8.1 desktop, earlier than the major update named 'Threshold'. This minor update may release somewhere around Spring 2014 and is calling the new project with an internal name 'mini start' since this start menu is not going to cover the whole screen, rather a smaller portion just like earlier start menus on Windows.
