Apple's iOS and Google Android are two most competitive mobile environments. iOS operating system stays little ahead of Android in terms of extra software Apple provides with iPhones, iPod and iPad to make the overall experience flawless. iTunes store allows complete device syncing with your PC and lots more. These days Apple is considering bringing iTunes store app on Android just for regaining what it is losing in its online music sale. Reports from Billboard says that Apple executives are in talk with higher level execs to start an on demand music streaming service for Android ecosystem.

Android is populating much faster than Apple and if Apple utilizes it for their benefit then there is nothing wrong in it. If this on demand online music streaming service and dedicated iTunes app for android will come in future, Apple is surely gonna gain many things from this. Even though the percentage of people downloading the online music has declined by 11% in US according to a report by Neilsen Soundscam, Streaming services have seen a growth in the past few years.

iTunes is right now available for OS X, Windows OS and iOS (Mobile version of iTunes), but with this move another vast ecosystem will also get into it. Almost every Android user who loves listening to online music will love this. Getting iTunes on their Android smartphone will surely make them more than happy, along with me.

One another thing that might happen is pulling out of iTunes radio app from iTunes app and making a dedicated iTunes radio app on iTunes App store. Right now iTunes radio services are confined to very limited number of users (Region wise). But once its dedicated app will come, I think more number of users across different countries on the globe will be able to utilize the service.

Although there are many other music streaming websites and Apps on Android, iTunes has its own status and will surely capture most of this space from other similar apps like Spotify. At this very moment we can just wait and watch all this till the time this happens in somewhere very near future.
