A Korean website reported that Samsung will begin manufacturing of its most anticipated smartphone, Galaxy S5, around January next year following mass production from March-April.  Samsung Galaxy S5 has really got some potential to compete or even beat the iPhone 5S of Apple. Rumors are tempting that it will feature a flexible 5-inch Active Matrix OLED (AMOLED) display, 3 GB RAM, Samsung's own Exynos 6 chip with 64-bit architecture. Rear camera will be 16 Megapixel having expected OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) technology, which is again a rumor.

If still not get the update you can go to settings then About Phone and last Phone Update for manually checking for updates. Checkout the official tweet by HTC USA that made this news go global.

LG's G2 is rumored to receive Android KitKat-4.4 update in the first quarter of 2014. LG power packed this phone with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, 2 GB RAM and Quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Primary camera features a 13 million pixel sensor and there is a front facing camera for taking #selfies and recording videos too. Inside the body is a 2610 mAh battery which powers the device for a complete day under normal usage.

Nokia Lumia 929 again leaks out as evleaks shown some more photos of the device, this time in white color. The rumored specs are telling that Lumia 929 will feature Quad-core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB ROM. Along with these powerful hardware specifications Lumia 929 will have 5-inch full-HD super AMOLED display.

Expected date of launch is being rumored to be in January, 2014. Exact pricing of the device is still unknown and we will publish it soon as soon as there is a solid indication about that.

2014 is definitely going to be the year of tablets-small, handy, portable computers which are slowly and secretly replacing our need of personal computers. Statistics make it further more clear by showing that 50% of PC market will be captured by tablets (no matter which OS they run) out of which alone Android based tablets have 65% of total tablet market share, where it is distributed to many manufacturers across the globe. Apple at the next position scored 30% market share and Windows tablets at third position with 5% market share. Can you feel the heat - by 2017 total units of tablets shipped will almost double to 396 million as compared to 185 million units shipped in 2014.

Android KitKat-4.4 update is now available for Google Play editions of Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One X. Both smartphone are the Google variants of their respective companies and comes with the purest form of Android Operating System, that all Nexus devices enjoy. HTC One X GPE does not support blink feed but has all the features that Nexus smartphones have. Both GPE smartphones although miss the on screen device control buttons but have their respective physical keys to navigate in the Android interface.
