Let us understand what is LiFi - Light Fidelity

Simply imagine the scenario where all artificial light sources around you are converted into WiFi hotspots. Your bedroom's bulb, study table's lamp and traffic lights on the streets all emitting light signals and those being used as a medium to access internet on your devices. Well this is all that explains LiFi in simple words. It was the idea of Harald Haas from university of Edinburgh, UK which we are discussing now. His concept is simple telling that if LED is 'ON' then digital '1' can be transmitted and digital '0' if LED is 'OFF'. Thing are not so simple in reality and need a lots of research to implement this technology.

Samsung and LG introduced their curved smartphones this year which are obviously their best innovative product of the 2013. Samsung brought Galaxy Round with almost Note 3 like design and feel but with a curve that goes from left to right. While LG G Flex features a 6-inch top to bottom curved display. Both smartphones are also very powerful specs wise and offers all that a high end smartphone can offer. Apple is also expected to be working on similar projects and can bring a curved iPhone by the end of next year.

Super social sharing website Facebook is working on new design of Like and Share buttons. According to Facebook these new buttons will be rolled out for everyone (for those who are running these buttons on their websites and other applications) in few days, but they their initial presence can be seen on the Huffington post. These new Like and Share buttons will drive more referral traffic to your site in comparison to the older versions of the Like and Share buttons. If you are having these Facebook social buttons on your site then they will be automatically updated to the new version without any need of updating the code.

Internet explorer 11 free for windows 7 users

Microsoft has recently announced that its latest released browser Internet explorer will be available to windows 7 users for free. The new browser was already present in previously available on window 8.1 which was upgraded since a month ago.
Microsoft officials said that browser will improve the performance of websites using scripts like javascript and they also added that this browser is 9% faster than its earlier version IE 10. It also enables the 3D graphics present on the websites and also help in manipulating the 3D objects on screen.
