Android 4.3 - The new Jelly Bean
We all know Google has just come up with its latest android update to version 4.3. It was necessary to keep Google intact in OS Race. With this update, Android brought many new features to impress its users and for the time only Nexus devices have got this update. In the coming days or Months, this update will be rolled out for Android devices from their respective manufacturers. Stay tuned with your company for update News.

One Device Many users

One of the remarkable feature included in this new version is the option of creating restricted profiles. Now every user of the device will have its own fully customized interface, his own apps, widgets and all content that only he/she wants to see. Device admin can set up profiles for different users and control their activities. Now users can customize their device for Home and office usage.

App Restrictions to a new level

Now restrict your apps to permissions that you want. This is very similar to the feature that was already available in iOS previous versions. See the image below to have a comparison between them. Simply toggle the buttons to change the permissions for whichever app you want. Main user can restrict permissions for apps and content that other users on the same device can access. Now easily hide what you don't want to show to others.

Bluetooth Smart Technology

Now android is more caring. This new feature allows users to connect their android devices to fitness sensors, heart rate and glucose monitors, thermometers and much more. They are also known as low-energy Bluetooth-Smart accessories

Daydream and actionable notifications

Daydream and actionable notifications in android 4.3

Daydream feature presents informative and media content on the screen when the device is either locked or in idle state. This is really a cool feature which adds another level of customization to the android devices. But at times one may feel this feature as nothing more battery drainer. Another feature allows users to expand notifications in the notification panel. Users can reply to a message, turn ON/OFF the Alarms, view shared content and lot more things right from the notification panel.

Now android 4.3 can support latest Industry standard graphics, OPENGL ES 3.0.

In addition to all these features some extra features like support for more international languages, location, Dial pad and Keyboard have also been changed, but they are not so noticeable. Still an upgrade is always good as it brings major security updates and makes the OS more stable and smooth in overall performance.
