Google Edition of HTC One
Google is world's most innovative brand name as they do things differently. One such example is the news upcoming smartphones from Google, HTC one and Samsung Galaxy S4 with Google's pure android experience. They are pretty similar to the Google own Nexus series but with a difference that they are manufactured by HTC and Samsung respectively and sold by Google on its play store with stock android. Here we will discuss some good and bad points of one of these device, HTC One with Google experience.

As expected from this phone, major change is noticed in the user experience. There is no longer HTC Sense interface. All we get is simple, clean and elegant android interface which all Nexus devices get. Another change noticed is in the use of touch buttons. Double tap the home button on right opens the recent apps or multitasking window. While long touch opens up the Google now. Back button functionality is just the same. We will now miss some best features of HTC Sense 5 in this edition of phone like Blink Feed, ZOE camera feature. Camera just got very simpler as found in all Nexus devices.

Some Pros of the phone:
  • Smooth and fluid android experience.
  • All latest updates from Google will be available as soon as they are launched by Google.
  • Increases little amount of internal storage as Sense 5 interface is removed and stock android is installed.
  • 3D sweep feature in camera as found in all nexus devices camera setting.
  • Horizontal scrolling option in place of  vertical scrolling.
  • Improved battery life.
Cons of the phone:
  • HTC Blink Feed is missing.
  • Zoe feature in the camera and gallery is also missing.
  • For those who love some sort of fancy android, Google play edition is not a good choice. They will miss Sense interface.
That's all for this comparison between real HTC one and Google's HTC one model. Do share your views in the comments below.
