3-D printed ear

A bionic ear that is designed by scientists of Princeton University can hear with more capabilities than humans and it is basically designed by using 3D printer technique. According to these researchers they have used 3D printed cells and nano particles and combined a small coiled antenna with cartilage to design it. It is also being said that this technology may some day design human body organs. 3D printers have a vast field of applications if implemented under budget cost and may be this technology ease human life ahead but research is being carried out to cut the implementation cost.
This artificially generated ear can listen to radio frequencies million times higher than humans. It perform the same functionality as our ears does. As we pick up accoustics signals and convert them to elecrical signals and then they are send to our brains and these artificially designed have a electronic coil attached to them which pick up the electrical signals directly.
This successful project used a $1000 3D printer which prints cells that are used in it. (See video below to know more about it.)

Basically these artificially designed ears are not intended for dumb and persons without ears. Idea behind it was to make a normal man to have powerful abilities which normally they don't have. Share with us what this astonishing 3D technology can help humans in real life and keep enjoying technology!!!
