Apple 2013 Event highlights – iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S and iOS7

Wait is over. Rumors have ended with reality right in front of our eyes. Apple astonished everyone by fine tuning amazing technology with equally beautiful designs. iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S and iOS7 were main highlights of the event. As compared to last year, excitement was at its peak this year. We were getting many rumors, pre-release leaked images from many websites across the internet. But today, on September 10th, Apple finally showed what they have prepared since they launched iPhone 5 last year. Here is the review of what we are getting this year from Apple.


iPhone 5C – Cheap yet perfect iPhone experience

This is the new cheap version of iPhone. Apple named it iPhone 5C. iPhone 5C is priced at $99 for 16GB of model and $199 for 32GB of model both on contract basis. It has 4 inches screen with retina display. Resolution of 1136-by-640 makes the ppi up to 326. It means screen resolution is same as that of iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. This time Apple has made the screen little wide for better viewing of the content on it. Apple incorporated A6 chip for faster processing. A 8 MP rear camera with auto focus, tap to focus and face detection is present. Front camera is 1.2 MP which is able to record 720p HD videos and take pictures with 1280-by-960 pixels resolution. 3.5 mm audio jack, lightning connector and inbuilt speaker are given at the bottom of the device. Lock/Unlock button is the only button to occupy space at the top. Rest all buttons are in the same place. iPhone 5C supports NANO SIM cards only. iPhone 5C is available in 5 different colors -  White, Pink, Yellow, Blue and Green. iPhone 5S for most premium experience

This is the beginning of new generation of iPhones. Let us start with the prices. Apple iPhone 5S is priced similar to the iPhone 5. $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32Gb and $399 for 64GB model. It just weighs 112 grams which is extremely light weight when compared to android smartphones coming these days. Apple did not change the screen size. It is same with 4 inches retina display. Resolution of 1136-by-640 makes the ppi up to 326. What was the highlight of the event was the Touch ID sensor used in iPhone 5S. It is something extraordinary that Apple used in any of its iPhones.

Front facing camera – 1.2 MP, 1280-by-960 pixels resolution and 720p HD video recording.

iOS7 – Completely a new experience
This is not the end. Stay tuned with us for more updates like this. Another major release was the welcome of completely redesigned operating system, iOS7. It is simple, colorful, live and more active than its previous versions. We talked much about beta releases of iOS7 few days back. But now it is complete and ready to power the new and some of the old iPhones. iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S will be coming with iOS7. Major feature updates have new notification center, control center, improved multitasking preview window and Air-Drop feature for faster sharing between Apple devices. Safari is upgraded to perform better and display amazing previews of the opened tabs.
