Facebook app for BlackBerry has got a new update including many advanced features like Facebook chat, Facebook messages, improved pagemanager, faster scrolling in news feed and better image visuals. One interesting thing written on the company blog was that Facebook app is still maintained and updated by Research in Motion on BlackBerry World. Facebook itself is not providing any update. Have you updated your Sony's media apps?

If you are a Sony smartphone user then this is your lucky day. Sony has rolled out updates for its media apps - Walkman, album and music. One more thing to make you happy is that this update is launched globally. Update was recently launched on 8th August, 2013 ie. a day before this post was created. Sony on their blog has written that this latest update will provide a more converged and full Sony entertainment experience with integration of a slicker/smoother UI and also some of the performance tweaks added to them.

31.2 million iPhones sold this quarter. A new record

Apple in a press release reported than they had a very brilliant year so far. In terms of total profit and total number of units sold, Apple has set a new record. They have sold 31.2 million units of iPhone, 14.6 million units of iPads and 3.8 million units of their MACs in the third quarter of the fiscal 2013.
