If you are a Sony smartphone user then this is your lucky day. Sony has rolled out updates for its media apps - Walkman, album and music. One more thing to make you happy is that this update is launched globally. Update was recently launched on 8th August, 2013 ie. a day before this post was created. Sony on their blog has written that this latest update will provide a more converged and full Sony entertainment experience with integration of a slicker/smoother UI and also some of the performance tweaks added to them.
Sony has plans for giving more such updates in the coming months to these entertainment apps. Main thing to focus in this update is that sony has integrated its cloud music, video and photo services into Album, Movies and Walkman app. A recommendation function will allow users to get suggestions based on their present list and what their friends are watching and listening to. It also lets you choose from different themes and mood, said Sony, on their company's blog portal.
Updates will be rolling out for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z and Xperia Z Ultra smartphones. Users having these smartphones running on Jelly Bean 4.2 will be notified when update will be ready for them to download. Over the air update will be given where users can get the update directly in their Update Center.
