A new app on Windows Phone 8 has just arrived to ensure that you are always safe when going out to regions you are not familiar of. Guardian app from CreativeThoughts is a new and refreshed security application with lots of things that a person in bad time needs. With a single click on the SOS button you can send messages to your contacts, security agencies, police, ambulance, fire stations etc. There is lot more in the app which a women in current scenario of society needs.

Tracking is also one of the very useful measures at times. This security application on your Windows Phone 8 tracks your every movement and let your friends and family follow your every movement using Microsoft Bing Maps and Windows Azure Cloud service.



In order to make use of the app effectively in emergency situations, users have to be prepared before hand. They have to add contacts from their family, friends to the settings of the app at the time of first use of application. Secondly they also have to add contact numbers of all security agencies and services like police station, ambulance and fire stations, etc. Once set it can be used to send SOS to all the contacts added in the settings by pressing a single SOS button on the application.

This application was developed under the initiative of Microsoft Garage in India and under which a group of experienced Microsoft employees worked for 6 months to make this application live. Really they have done a great job in the path of making women feel more secured when going out in the society they are not familiar of.
