Samsung's own developed operating system for different platforms has appeared in some of the images online. It is named as Tizen and Samsung is going to launch it on 23 February, 2014 at a press conference in Barcelona. Samsung news website, Sammobile displayed leaked images of Tizen operating system which is mainly designed to operate Samsung smartphones and is an indication that Samsung do not want Google's Android to be as its main mobile platform. Till then sit back and go through all the screenshots of the much awaited 'Tizen' OS.

Samsung's Tizen seems to be adopting many features from Samsung's current Android version which it calls TouchWiz. Several features and design elements are very similar in both mobile operating systems. Notification bar is very similar to one we see in Android, depicting same functionality but with few upgradations, which is very clear from the images shown below.

Hope Samsung had learned a lot from its previously developed OS, Bada which was not so successful and flopped badly. Tizen is basically designed to run on televisions, cameras, laptops etc and more importantly on smartphones. Here are some more screenshots of Tizen Operating System.

Samsung already captured most of the rumors of 2014 which are basically focused on its next flagship smartphone Galaxy S5. Above images shows most common apps like dialer, gallery, phonebook, browser, calender, calculator etc. Well it would be very interesting to see how Samsung Tizen will compete perform while working parallel with Android and iOS.

Tell us what's your opinion about Samsung's new mobile operating system? We will feel very glad to hear your views about this new update.
