Nokia Microsoft deal proved good luck for Nokia as share prices of Nokia doubled in just 3 months |
Nokia is all set to transfer its devices business to Microsoft which was decided 3 months back. The deal is confirmed or not will be decided today itself as shareholders are set to vote on the Nokia-Microsoft deal and a lot depends upon their decision. Anyway Nokia grew very well during the past three months. As on september, 2013 share price of Nokia Corporation was $3.90 and just after the announcement of the deal on 9th september share price started rising. Share price doubled to $8.06 in just three months which has really boosted the moral of the company.
Nokia and Microsoft are working in very close relations due to their dependence on each other. Nokia manufactures the hardware and uses the Windows Phone operating system of Microsoft. This could be the possible reason for the company being sold to Microsoft as Microsoft wants to get complete control over the Windows Phones in future.
