When combined, both search giants makes the 95% of the total search queries of the world.

More than 1,00,000 search queries regarding child pornography have been removed from Google and Bing's search results. When searched, they do not return any result and in turn display a warning message that informs users about the illegalness of the content they are visiting. Also measures are being taken to closely monitor those sources which are uploading such illegal online images and videos. Google and Microsoft have developed such technologies that help them to track such images and videos which eventually lead them to the original sources of such illegal content.

According to Schmidt, these changes are currently applicable in UK and US only but soon they will be enforced globally to so that more number of illegal sources can be tracked and truncated. Moreover, queries in more than 150 different languages will be added to cover more global region.
