Maybe your next smartphone will have a 3-sided display : Samsung reported to be working on that

Samsung shook the smartphone market when it launched the world's first curved smartphone - Galaxy Round few months back. Well that was just a trailer by Samsung as it is expected to be working on much complex display technology which might introduce three sided screen with no bezels at all in the future's Samsung smartphones. Picture itself makes everything very clear about what we are talking about.

According to a document shown on United States Patent and Trademark office's website, Samsung has given an application for the 3 sided bended display. One of the benefit of such display is that it offers extreme viewing angles while watching on the device's display from sides. Moreover it is also natural that many app developers will definitely make use of this technology when it will be a reality.

According to Bloomberg, it is still not clear when these displays will debut as there isn't any indication from Samsung regarding the release date for the first product with three sided display technology. There is little prediction that somewhere near second half of 2014 a product with such technology may appear in reality.

 These curved displays are already capturing the attention of many tech lovers as we have already seen two smartphones with such displays, they are - LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Round, both of featuring high end specifications and strong build quality.

It is still very unclear that which Samsung product will debut with this display technology. Whether it will be Galaxy S5, next Note device or Samsung will bring a completely new series having 3 sided displays. Now what do you think? What are your reactions after reading this?
