iPhone and iPad users can now automatically upload their camera roll pictures and videos to SkyDrive for online backup of them. You don't have to do much. Just install this updated app from iTunes and simply get started by signing in the SkyDrive app with your microsoft id. So all your photos and videos are always there with you whether  you are on a Windows Phone or iPhone.

Other new features that were included with this update are improved editing, One Note integration and viewing in office mobile. Well one can easily say that this is one of the important SkyDrive app update for iOS. Android users are still missing this feature.

Auto backup of the photos and videos can be manually turned on and off from the SkyDrive app. Moreover you can select the quality of pictures being uploaded and select the auto backup feature using three connectivity options Wi-Fi, data network only or both. You can also neglect videos from being backed up by turning off video backup in the settings of the app.
