First of all you need Chrome Browser for installing and using Remote Chrome Desktop tool. you can download Chrome by visiting the link. Next visit the Chrome web store, a place for millions of apps and helpful extensions that turn around the chrome's experience. Search there for "Remote Chrome Desktop" or you can directly go there by following the link. Follow the instructions given by Chrome to successfully installing the Desktop sharing software.

The app will be added to the list of your Chrome apps from where you can access it anytime. You need similar app on the remote computer also.


Remote assistance

Chrome Remote desktop can be used for remote assistance wherein users can either share their desktop with users they want or can access other's computer also. So simply it is just SHARE or ACCESS. On the app page, if you want to share your desktop with other user then click on the share button under the remote assistance block. It will generate an access code which the user at the other end will be need to get access of your desktop. Give this code to the person with whom you want to share.

At the remote end the other user has to click on the access button under the same block and enter the code given by you. The sharing channel is fully secured as mentioned on the App's page on Chrome Web Store. As mentioned above, this can be used for getting access on both short term and long term basis. Take your Desktop anywhere with you

This is the feature that make this tool/app totally different from others. It allows you to have access of your personal computers anywhere using Chrome Browser. All you need is an active internet connection and Chrome Remote Desktop app on both locations.

Add computer to the list for which you want remote access to work. Once the computer is added a secure PIN has to be created by you which has to be filled up every time you want to access this computer. PIN is a secure secret sequence of numeric digits which should be remembered  by you in order to access the computer from remote location at anytime in future. You need to install Remote Chrome Desktop app on both side in the Chrome Browser. It means, Chrome Browser is the bridge between two connected computers. Also you need to be logged-in on both locations in order to use the app.
