Yes, we are discussing about the very first tablet that Samsung is going to launch in 2014. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2014 edition is coming in two versions. Its 3G/WiFi version will be having 1.9 GHz quad core + 1.3 GHz quad core processor. On the other hand its LTE version will be having 2.3 GHz quad-core processors. RAM is 3 GB with 3 different memory variants - 16/32/64 GB versions and all having expandable memory slot by which memory can be increased up to 64 GB. Display is 10.1 inches wide with resolution of 2560-by-1600 pixels (WQXGA) TFT screen (almost 299 PPI). Display is sharp and colors are produced so brilliantly that it gives screen a life.
When it comes to photography, its 8 MP rear camera is capable of recording videos at 1080 pixels resolution and pictures at resolution of 3264-by-2448 pixels. It is auto-focus, Geo-tagging, smile and face detection capable camera with lot more stuff like this. Front facing camera is 2 MP resolved which records video at Full-HD 1080 p resolution. This tablet comes out of the box with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. We hope that Samsung will soon roll out the next version upgrade which is most probably going to be Android KitKat. Huge screen doesn't make the device run for shorter periods but its 8,220mAh battery makes it run for a day longer operations. Well if this has to be fit inside the tablet then its weight has to be little more than other tablets have. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 weighs almost 500 grams with thickness of 7.9 mm. Device doesn't look bulky and odd rather it looks very durable and sexy at the same time.
Bottom of the device have a physical button as all Samsung smartphones and tablets have. It is surrounded by back and options touch capacitive buttons on the right and left side of the device respectively. It works with Kies and all updates will only be installed through Kies only. It comes loaded with all bunch of sensors that are helpful for better performance of the device under heavy graphics need like in HD games and applications.
