Samsung Galaxy S5 will be the first smartphone to have Android KitKat - Other devices will follow

Android KitKat updateIf you are using an Android smartphone manufactured by Samsung then you must be waiting for the update of Android version to 4.4 which is Android KitKat. According to current rumors, in the Samsung's current smartphone lineup Samsung Galaxy S5 is gong to be the first smartphone to get the taste of Android KitKat. After that other Samsung Galaxy smartphones will follow the update of the same or previous versions of the Android.

It is highly expected that Samsung Galaxy S5 will be releasing in the month of March, next year. According to the Korean media DDaily, Samsung Galaxy S5 will feature a much smaller chip dimensions, likely to be of 14nm dimensions. Earlier it was 28nm, which can now go down to rumored value of 14nm. All these changes will be made to decrease the power consumption by the smartphone EXYNOS 6 chip and also for better heat management in the device.


Once Samsung Galaxy S5 will get the much anticipated rumored update, Galaxy Note 3 will follow the Android Kitkat update because it is the best smartphone after Samsung after Galaxy S5. Also Samsung Galaxy Note will get Android 4.3 update along with Galaxy S3 and S4 mini, as per rumors suggest.

Some other smartphone companies like LG, Sony are also planning for releasing the update as soon as Google will bring the KitKat version to the world. LG's flagship smartphone G2 will be their first smartphone who will receive Android KitKat update. Next LG's Nexus 4 will no doubt get this very anticipated update along with L7, L5 and L3 receiving their respective firmware upgrades. LG Optimus G and G Pro are also in the line for receiving their respective firmware upgrades.
