You must have seen in movies, that a character enters into the virtual world of a video game and plays in it as a part of it. That looks fictitious. But wait...You can also do that! Really want to know how?

Omni Treadmill for virtual gamingA 4-foot tall, 110 pound heavy and 360 degree tracking machine, the Omni Treadmill can allow you enter a game's virtual world. Not 100%  technically correct but still you can walk, jump, couch and translate your every motion into the game graphics through this machine. One big advantage is that every game that uses a keyboard for inputting commands can use this Omni Treadmill to control the game's character. See the video from the site, that describes every aspect of this gaming device.

The Omni Treadmill comes with a tool that is just like a Hi-Tech glass, Oculus Rift that you have to wear. It projects 3D pictures on the screen inside it and you will feel that you are actually in the game. These projector glasses are  sold separately and currently their prototype is available with the Omni Treadmill. Also special type of shoes are given along with the Gaming Treadmill that help gamers run in it,which then translates the gamer motion into the movement of the gaming character.
.
The Omni treadmill can be ordered in two possible combinations. One the "Virtual Omni Duel package" in which you will get two Omni set-ups and three pairs of specially designed shoes that will help you in playing multiplayer games. It will cost you $1019. But the if you love to play alone, the second option is particularly designed for you. It is "Virtual Omni Natural Motion Interface" where you will be getting one complete set of the Omni Treadmill along with shoes, belt and software. It will cost you around $499.

If you want to buy another pair of shoes, it will cost you extra $49. An extra harness for safety and motion on the Treadmill will cost you around $79, no matter what size you order. All sizes have same pricing. If still you don't want to get away from your keyboard, you can order this Omni Rack, which will keep your keyboard, mouse, Rift etc attached to the Omni Treadmill.

Now you decide, whether you still want to make your fingers and hands tired while playing games or you will prefer full workout of your body while at the same time enjoying the game. Source Website
