If you love sharing photos on Facebook, then think about albums in which all your friends can contribute by uploading photos. A common Facebook album where many users can contribute having a manager, the actual creator of album and contributors, the people manage have been added to be a part of the common album.
Getting into more details
In the shared album, the creator of the album, manager, will be able to add up to 50 contributors where each of them can share maximum of 200 photos . As of now, albums are only visible and managed by a single person, the user of the album, with photo limitation of 1000 photos per album.
Getting further details, the manager or creator of the album will be able to edit the privacy settings of the album and can select one of the privacy settings from public, friends of contributors and contributors only. While the manager will also be able to add, modify and delete photos from the shared album, contributors can only edit or modify photos uploaded by them.
When can you expect shared albums feature from Facebook?
Don't get so excited because you have to wait for some more time to get this feature. Initially Facebook will be rolling this update to only few englishmen so as to check their response for debugging and testing it. Then it will be made available for all english-speaking users, but still not world wide.
Facebook can then launch this feature for its global users, in the similar manner they did in case of Embedded posts on Facebook.
