Although managing things on iTunes is very easy, still a lot of people face difficulties while doing it for the first time. iTunes is a very helpful tool given by Apple that keeps complete sync between your Apple device and your computer (Windows or Mac). It syncs your apps, songs, pictures, videos, voice recordings and some settings files that helps your computer maintain record about your device operation.
Your device can be connected to iTunes through cable or via WiFi. We will be discussing further using the first method. Also please ensure that you are taking all precautionary measures before following the steps given ahead. Do take the full backup before following the steps, because if you lost your songs or any data it can be restored easily.

How to sync Music and Videos with iTunes?
1. Attach your device with iTunes. Ensure that it is not locked with a password. If so, unlock it and attach it again.
2. Login your iTunes using the same Apple ID and password, with which your device is working. If you don't have any Apple ID, then create it first before moving ahead. Create it here.
3. After logging in, go to device page on iTunes and scroll down to settings menu. Check the option "Manually manage music and videos" See picture for more help. After that apply setting by clicking apply button at the bottom.
4. Now go to songs library on iTunes. Add songs to iTunes if you haven't added them before. For that go to Files ---> Add folder to library. Now select the folder in which your songs are and wait till iTunes adds all songs to its library.
5. After that select songs you want to add to your device or press Ctrl + A for selecting all songs. Drag them by clicking and holding towards right side of iTunes. Similar method can be applied to your videos in Movie folder in the iTunes as shown in image below.

6. Wait till iTunes sync all songs or videos. You will notice something happening on the top bar of the iTunes. It will look like this.
